WHO I AM

The passion for helping others pushed me to pursue a career as a doctor. I believe that my more than twenty years of experience allows me to offer my patients a level of personalized and high quality care. As an endocrinology specialist since 1993, I conceive medicine with a holistic approach to always offer effective solutions which, at the same time, respect the patient's natural physiology as much as possible.
During my career I have had the opportunity to experience general medicine and endocrinology in different realities: from the experience in the field in the difficult realities of developing countries, which made me fully understand the importance of medicine as a humanitarian tool. From the many years of experience in pediatric hospitals that made me aware of the need to develop a specific approach for children and adolescents, to the long collaboration with humanitarian organizations that made me discover the multifaceted symptoms even in the context of what are normally considered individual pathologies, often requiring different treatment protocols depending on the geographical area in which it is necessary to intervene.
